About Bennys Power Toys
Growing up on the family farm/ranch, I got my first dirt bike when I was 12 years old. That was the end of riding my Shetland pony for sure. Every spare minute was spent on that bike. It wasn't long before I got a chance to ride the neighbor's snowmobile. I guess you could say that I got hooked on motorized toys at a young age. Spending Saturdays when the family would go into town at the local Powersports Dealerships became my favorite past time. I knew at a very young age that I wanted to someday become a Powersports Dealer.
A few years later in college I met my terrific wife to be, Vicki and we soon married. Fast forward 10 years and our children Heidi, 7 and Scott, 5 were snowmobiling with us. Sleds, dirtbikes and more recently side-by-sides have became a big part of the whole family's life.
With the help of our children, both of which were in college at the time, Vicki and I opened Benny's Power Toys in 2000. It was strictly a family operation in the beginning and we all had to work hard to get the business up and going. We could not have done it without Scott and Heidi's help.
I feel very fortunate to have been someone that has been able to "live their dreams" and continue to do so thanks to the great customers that support Benny's Power Toys.
